As for what caused the rift between the two singers, Pink theorized, “We were super-young and super-new at the whole thing, and I think I’m an alpha, and she’s an alpha, and I’m used to, you know, taking my altercations physical, and she’s used to having them verbal, and we just are very different.”
At one point, the rivalry got so heated, Pink said, “She swung on me in a club … which is hilarious.”
After visiting as a guest coach on The Voice, Pink realized Aguilera was simply a genie in a bottle, baby. Who just needed to be rubbed the right way, honey.
Pink said, “We made up on The Voice ’cause I hadn’t seen her in years and years and years, and we grew. We became moms. We grew up, and we hugged it out. It’s that simple, and I feel so good about that.”
In fact, Pink let it slip that the two have already collaborate on an upcoming project. Pink said, “Um, we may or may not have already collaborated. … I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that, but I just did.”
