The annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame organizers have revealed the nominees for next year’s ceremony, with N.W.A, Nine Inch Nails, The Smiths, Janet Jackson, and Chic among those selected. The final list of inductees won’t be confirmed until December, but you can vote online for your preferred choice here, and the winner will make up one of the six acts that will be inducted. This will be N.W.A’s fourth nomination, so here’s hoping fourth time is the charm.

The other nominees for induction are Chicago, Yes, Deep Purple, Cheap Trick, Los Lobos, Steve Miller, Chaka Khan, The Spinners, The Cars, and The JB’s. This year, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted Joan Jett, Lou Reed, Green Day (for some reason), Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, and Bill Withers. Last year, Nirvana and Peter Gabriel were inducted, and the surviving members of Nirvana reunited with guest vocalists Lorde, St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, and Joan Jett singing in place of Kurt Cobain to celebrate the occasion.

Many acts before Nirvana have used the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies as a chance to reunite, with The Police, Led Zeppelin, and Talking Heads among those to use the event for a special one-off performance. Here’s hoping we can see the surviving members of N.W.A hop on stage together one last time at 2016’s ceremony.
