Director Gabriel Nicoli evokes layered images of Mad Men's stylish angst, as well as the tragedy of the 9/11 attacks, in the video for a song that No Te Va Gustar band members describe as "a deep and reflective look at the enormous value of simple things that make up the true essence of life, while resisting the materialism that reigns in contemporary society."
The song is called "Para Cuando Me Muera" ("For When I Die"). The dramatic tune is the latest preview of the Uruguayan rock band's new album-in-progress, which has been in the works since last summer -- a follow-up to their majestic El Calor del Pleno Invierno. A release date has not yet been set.
