The throne isn't up for the taking, according to Nicki Minaj. On Wednesday (April 19), The Pinkprint MC unleashed her claws in her new video "No Frauds" featuring Drake and Lil Wayne.
Walking alone in the deserted streets of London, Minaj fearlessly flexes her muscles for her foes. "Aye yo, throw your wrist-es up, all my b-----s up / These n----s is p----ier than what? / All them d---s is up," she begins her verse. Then, donning her crown, Minaj sits comfortably on her throne while spewing venom at her arch-nemesis, Remy Ma. "Tried to drop "Another One," you was itchin' to scrap / You exposed your ghostwriter, now you wish it was scrapped," says Minaj.
The contentious video finds Minaj purposely throwing darts in hopes of demolishing Remy. Minaj delivers a low blow when she grabs former Love and Hip Hop star, Rah Ali, to make a cameo in the video. "Sheneneh, you a fraud committin' perjury / I got before and after pictures of your surgery / Rah took you to her doc, but you don't look like Rah / Left the operating table, still look like 'Nah," Nicki raps.
To avid viewers of the show, Ali and Remy were close friends. According to Ali, her relationship with Remy crumbled behind the scenes. On Tuesday (April 18), Ali issued a statement regarding her alliance to Minaj. "I'm not working with Nicki out of spite or payback. Nicki and I were friendly long before the rap beef unfolded with Remy," wrote Ali in an open letter to fans. "The inseparable bond that once was ended a long time ago," Ali said regarding her friendship with Remy.
As for the video, it also serves as a reunion for Young Money's triumvirate of Lil Wayne, Drake, and Minaj. "No Frauds" is YM's first video together since Minaj's 2014 "Only."
