It wasn't easy being a member of the Ramones. Beyond the simple fact that they basically despised each other, their music was way ahead of its time and sold very few copies. It's hard to walk down the streets these days without seeing a Ramones T-shirt or hearing "Blitzkreig Bop," but during their actual run they never scored a single higher than number 66 on the Billboard Hot 100. The vast majority of their songs didn't even come close to the charts, and they rarely played venues larger than clubs.
Now we have a question for you: what is your favorite Ramones song? Feel free to vote for a classic like "I Wanna Be Sedated," an overlooked Eighties gem like "The KKK Took My Baby Away" or a super deep cut like "I'm Not Jesus." Vote for whatever you want, but please only vote once and only for a single song.
