In a speech given in New Hampshire on Thursday (Oct. 13), first lady Michelle Obama spoke about Donald Trump's lewd comments about women following the release of hot-mic recordings from an Access Hollywood interview from 2005, calling the comments "something we can't ignore."
"I know this is a campaign, but this isn't about politics," Obama told the crowd, addressing Trump's statements about grabbing and kissing women without their consent. "It's about basic human decency."
Many on Twitter responded to Obama's speech, including Lady Gaga -- a survivor of sexual assault -- who tweeted that she was "in tears."
.@FLOTUS watching you speak on @CNN in New Hampshire in tears. You are a true role model and leader.
