Calling all aspiring music video actors: Moby and Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips are hosting a casting call today in L.A. for a clip they're planning to shoot for their song "The Perfect Life" off Moby's upcoming album, Innocents. Applicants should be willing to strip down.
Moby posted the casting call on his website with a list of roles up for grabs. Among them are "a drunk king" (a guy with a beard, basically), "S&M gimp rhythmic gymnist" (ribbon-dancing skills preferred), eight roller skating ghosts (not roller bladers), a punk rock brass band and "20 random party goers who are comfortable with nudity."
Those interested in the nude party-goer slots ought to be "freaky fun, people who are cool with dancing and getting naked. Existing costumes and skills a plus like hula hoopers, crunk dancers, various random talents, jugglers etc, trick rope twirlers, stuff of that weird talent show speciality nature a plus."
He added, "p.s-these are real requests."
The video shoot will take place August 10th in L.A.
