Mick Fleetwood has filed for legal separation from his wife, Lynn Frankel Fleetwood, in Los Angeles, The Associated Press reports. The two married in July 1995 and have twin 11-year-old daughters, Ruby and Tessa. Fleetwood filed the papers on March 22nd, but the documents didn't become public until yesterday.
According to a court filing, the 65-year-old Fleetwood wants joint legal custody of the twins, but requested that his estranged wife have physical custody of the children. He's also seeking sole control of music royalties and other earnings prior to the marriage. Fleetwood cited "irreconcilable differences" for the separation but did not elaborate in the documents.
