Editors' enveloping, atmospheric tunes often ride layers of dreamy synths and ringing guitars, but in this acoustic take on their new track "Honesty," the British alt-rockers strip down their sound for a different vibe on the cinematic song. Frontman Tom Smith takes on the track alone at RAK Studios in London, letting his bare vocals take the lead over vulnerable guitar plucks. His typically soaring vocals don't have the deep drums or synth walls to ride behind, and the naked acoustics give a new shaky intimacy to his singing.
"Honesty" is on Editors' latest album, The Weight of Your Love.
