Former Alexisonfire guitarist Dallas Green started releasing music as City and Colour approximately eight years ago, and the acoustic folk project was a stark contrast to Alexisonfire's intense, post-hardcore onslaught. Now he is about to release City and Colour's fourth album, The Hurry and the Harm, on which Green's folk sound expands even more. Here you can get a first listen to the breezy title track, on which laid-back drums prompt slide-guitar swells and Green's easy falsetto.
City and Colour's fourth album, The Hurry and the Harm, will be out June 4th on Dine Alone Records. City and Colour will kick off a fall U.S. tour on September 13th at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, Massachusetts. For full tour dates, visit City and Colour's website.
