Clinton’s Love Trumps Hate concert series also features Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, and more.

Hillary Clinton recently announced a new Get Out the Vote concert series, which will take place in the final weeks before Election Day (Tuesday, November 8). The series is called “Love Trumps Hate”–one of her campaign slogans–and features performances from noted supporter Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, and more. The National have now revealed that they will play a Love Trumps Hate concert in their hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio on November 2. In a note, the band wrote, “We will urge Ohioans to support Clinton and her vision of an America that is stronger together by voting early or on Election Day.” See their announcement below.

This past summer, National frontman Matt Berninger compared Clinton’s opponent, Donald Trump, to Ronald McDonald. Earlier this week, he released a new anti-Trump song with his band EL VY.
