Miley Cyrus celebrated the release of her new album, Bangerz, by appearing as the sole guest and musical performer last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Well, not quite the only performer: Fallon and the Roots helped her sing an minimalist version of "We Can't Stop."
In an interview segment, Fallon expressed disbelief that Cyrus had the name of this magazine tattooed on her feet for a Rolling Stone cover story. "And it's all gone," Cyrus told him. "I walked it all off. . . . What's great is that it's all gone, except 'ing' and the money sign. So now I can have anything I want – '-ing' anything."
After a bit featuring Cyrus, Fallon and the Roots singing "We Can't Stop" while split into boxes on the screen, Brady Bunch-style, Cyrus performed "Wrecking Ball," the latest single from Bangerz,, which came out yesterday.
