Meg Myers Shows Off New Single at Life Is Beautiful

Singer-songwriter Meg Myers spent her early years in Tennessee’s Smoky Mountains, but instead of becoming a folk or country singer, she began to shape a musical identity all her own. Using songwriting as a coping mechanism during her nomadic, unstable childhood (she and her family moved from town to town over the years), Myers eventually moved to Los Angeles just shy of her 20th birthday to pursue a career in the field.

There, she hooked up with producer Doctor Rosen Rosen and put out two EPs before releasing her full length debut, Sorry. Her latest single, “Lemon Eyes,” offers a solid introduction to those fans interested in her sound –check out this glimpse of her performing in the intimate Toyota Tent in conjunction with SPIN at this year’s Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas.
