When it comes to Thanksgiving throwdowns, Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart know their way around a turkey. For the pre-holiday episode of Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party, the sensational duo whipped up their festive favorites. After gobbling with two real-life turkeys on set, Stewart poured up a bourbon cider and showed Snoop how to create ice balls. "I've never held ice balls before," an amused Snoop offered.
They then brought out the night's special guests: actress Naya Rivera, who brought turkey hats; rapper 2 Chainz, who delivered an "herb"-infused pie; and NBA star Chris Bosh, who toted a homemade brew for the party.
When it came to the main course, Stewart made it clear that she runs the show at her own home. "I tell people that if you don't like the way I make my turkey, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out of Martha Stewart's house."
Snoop and Rivera whipped up a baked ham -- with "blaze," not glaze, per the West Coast OG -- while Stewart and 2 Chainz served a roasted turkey. The queen of the kitchen sensually buttered up her meat then schooled the audience on the art of wrapping a cheese cloth on your holiday bird. "You will get the most beautiful, glistening, brown turkey when it comes out of the oven," she assured.
Ever the gracious host, Stewart then showed the self-proclaimed "hair weave killer" how to slice up the turkey. "It's a blessing to eat Martha Stewart's potatoes," he added before digging in to their Thanksgiving meal.
No gathering would be complete, though, without some inappropriate behavior so Stewart whipped out a faux turkey, whose feathers contained side eye-worthy gestures each family may or may not relate to. When Bosh described a parent walking in on their daughter or son making out with their significant other in the bedroom, Snoop offered some sideline commentary. "For my kids, I'mma go on and let 'em get finished," he said. "I'm not gonna stop the groove."
Before bidding their farewells, rapper Dreezy performed her T-Pain-assisted slow jam "Close to You" after the hosts broke a wishbone. Both wished for more seasons of their VH1 show, a timely request given the network recently announced that the Potluck Dinner Party will be returning for a second season.
