Singer/songwriter Maria Taylor reflects on her life in the dream-like video for the song "If Only," which she premiered exclusively with Billboard.
"This video was directed by one of my favorite photographers, Liz Bretz," Taylor told Billboard. "I wanted the video to reflect my lives within my life. I wanted it to tie in my past and present with a dream like quality."
The video features Taylor dancing and sharing blissful moments with her husband in Joshua Tree before she is seen holding her children near the end of the video.
"Having the desert setting was important because while writing this record, Joshua Tree became my favorite place to clear my mind... and at the same time inspire new songs."
The song and video feature Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes and Desaparecidos.
Taylor is set to release her sixth solo effort, In The Next Life on Dec. 9. The album is her sixth solo effort and the first off her own Flower Moon Records label.
