Major Lazer and Showtek Share New 'Believer' Video
By Sheldon Pearce.
In September, Major Lazer and Showtek shared a new song called “Believer.” Now, they’ve shared a video, inspired by the ongoing crisis in Syria. Watch it below. Directed by Christopher Louie (who also directed Netflix’s EDM movie XOXO), the video—which was shot on location in the Middle East—follows a boy through a dream sequence of fond memories after an explosion leaves him trapped beneath rubble. The caption includes a donation link to Save the Children for those who would “like to help provide relief to children affected by the conflict in Syria.” Find more information about the organization here. The “Believer” video follows the video for Major Lazer’s Justin Bieber and MØ collaboration “Cold Water.”
