Country star Luke Bryan has been announced as the latest headliner Summerfest 2014 at the Marcus Amphitheater in Milwaukee. Bryan and special guest Danielle Bradbery, who won season four of "The Voice," will play the multi-day festival on June 28.
Spread over 11 days, Summerfest features daily headliners (who play inside the Marcus Amphitheater) along with a multitude of other acts who will make up the festival's myriad stages from June 25 through July 6, with a day off on June 30.
Other confirmed Summerfest headliners include Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Brad Paisley (along with Darius Rucker and Joel Crouse), Outkast (along with Gark Clark, Jr.), Dave Matthews Band, Zac Brown Band, Motley Crue (with Alice Cooper) and a Fall Out Boy/Paramore co-headlining bill.
Tickets to the amphitheater shows are sold separately from general admission passes. Tickets go on sale May 3 through the Summerfest box office, Ticketmaster and Walmart.
In addition to Summerfest, Bryan will perform at this year's Stagecoach festival in Indio, Calif., on April 27. From there, he'll headline North American arenas and amphitheaters through August, with numerous other festival stops in between. Bryan has also been tapped to perform at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 18.
Last year, Bryan hit No. 1 twice on the Billboard 200, with a compilation of his earlier "Spring Break" EPs titled "Spring Break… Here to Party," and with his most recent studio album, "Crash My Party." In March, his "Spring Break 6 … Like We Ain't Ever" EP debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.
