After spending two decades together most bands can't even agree on what color the sky is anymore. But in a friendly round of "The Bandmate Game" posted by The Late Late Show on Sunday, Linkin Park's Brad Delson, Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington got on the couch and proved that they're still on the same page. Okay, sometimes.
Fine, practically never.
Asked who singer/keyboardist Shinoda would choose to himself in a biopic, lead singer Bennington immediately offered up James Franco, only to have Delson wonder if it maybe shouldn't be someone who looks like Shinoda. "Jared Leto!" Bennington shot back. "Shouldn't we pick someone Latino?" Delson offered, to which Bennington jokingly replied [Deftones singer] Chino Moreno, or maybe comedian George Lopez.
Needless to say none of those were Shinoda's pick. (He's looking at you, Johnny Depp.)
When it came to what animal Bennington is most like, the only question Shinoda had in response was "what animal is most annoying?" While the boys went for "passionate beast of the wild," Bennington's real answer was wayyyyy more specific. They pretty much tanked it right up until the end, when Delson's motivational speech got them across the finish line.
