On April 11, songstress Lana Del Rey revealed the '60s-inspired artwork for her new album, Lust for Life. On the cover, Del Rey's signature deep plum locks are decorated with pinned daisies, accented by a middle part, her classic full-lash cat eye and a golden-mauve lip that is perfect for ushering in festival season. Read on to get the look.
For this look, Lana's eyes are relatively neutral, so we suggest using a muted palette like Too Faced's Natural Love Ultimate Neutral Eye Shadow Palette to get a nice base from shadows all in one place. Start by using a color like Heaven all over the lid and blend a slightly darker shade, like Nudie into the crease to deepen the color. Highlight the brow bone by sweeping a light golden champagne color like Moonbeam under the arch, onto the middle of the lid and blend into the inner corners near the tear duct. The singer's look is always about bombshell, doe-eyed lashes, so once the shadow is set, line tight along the lash line using a liquid liner like Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Jet Black, gradually moving upwards to thicken the line at the wing. To get the perfect cat eye, look in the mirror and hold the pen vertical in front of the pupil. Then tilt it diagonally until the tip is where the wing should end. Make a dot, and draw from that dot to the eyelid. Smudge the liner under the lash line, connecting to the upper lash, and finish with a pair of flirty, wispy lashes like Velour Silk Lashes Fluff'n Thick Silk in Momma Knows Best.

Shimmery Mauve Lips
A fresh departure from the ubiquitous matte lip, the singer donned a peachy, golden lip that's super easy to replicate. Start by lining your lips with a brick pink liner, like MAC's Lip Pencil in Dervish, by stretching your lips and over-lining the bottom pout. Keep close to the natural lip line for the rest of the look and fill in both top and bottom lips with the liner for a base. Take a sheer rosy lipstick with golden undertones, like Lipstick Queen's Jean Queen Lipstick, and carefully paint straight from the tube, blending out any sharp edges with your ring finger. Top it off with a golden shimmer like Queen Bee, or a gloss like Mariah Carey's MAC Lipglass for more shine, tapped into the middle of the top and bottom pout. Blend excess outwards and keep in your bag to freshen your look anytime.
