Last month, Lana Del Rey announced a new album called Lust For Life, out via Interscope. (The release date has not yet been announced.) She revealed the news via a cryptic, symbolism-heavy black-and-white trailer, with plenty of “hidden tie-ins” to the album. Now, she’s shared the cover art—check it out below. In February, during a conversation on Jo Whiley’s BBC Radio 2 show she discussed her single (“Love”) and her forthcoming record. She said she’s been writing for the last 15 months, and she “started out thinking that the whole record was going to have sort of a, like, a ’50s, ’60s feeling, with some kind of Shangri-La, early Joan Baez influences.” Lana Del Rey’s last studio LP, Honeymoon, came out in 2015.
Correction: An earlier version of this story reported that the album will be out May 26. That release date has not been confirmed.
