Marcus Miller and recent Grammy Award winner Lalah Hathaway have been added as headliners for the 2017 Playboy Jazz Festival. The pair will join earlier announced headliners Common, Corinne Bailey Rae, Gregory Porter and TajMo' (the Taj Mahal and Keb' Mo' band) when the 39th annual festival returns to the Hollywood Bowl on June 10-11.
British newcomer Jacob Collier, a Quincy Jones protégé who became a first-time Grammy winner this year; the Arturo Sandoval Latin Big Band; and a salute to late jazz vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson (with musical director Stefon Harris and special guests Roy Ayers and Warren Wolf) are among the additional acts comprising the festival's complete lineup. Back again as host for the fifth year is George Lopez.
