Lady Gaga Fires Back at The Chainsmokers' 'Perfect Illusion' Diss in One Perfect Tweet

Lady Gaga has finally responded to the diss heard 'round the world -- or at least around the Twitterverse. In an interview with Rolling Stone published earlier this month, Alex Pall of EDM duo The Chainsmokers said Gaga's lead Joanne single "Perfect Illusion," well, "sucks."

In response, Gaga tweeted the duo directly on Tuesday (Oct. 18), writing, "maybe u guys'll like this 1 better," with a link to new single "A-YO."

#AYO @TheChainsmokers maybe u guys'll like this 1 better ✌️️--------#NowPlaying

The duo have since responded:

Gaga supporters are now trending #GagaEndedTheChainsmokersParty on Twitter.

During that RS interview, Pall's bandmate Andrew Taggart jumped to Gaga's defense after Pall's frank review of "Perfect Illusion," adding, "She's a great artist -- like, Jeff Koons made a sculpture of her."

Joanne arrives Friday.
