Kodak Black Has Been Released From Jail

He has finished his sentence at St. Lucie County jail but is being transferred to South Carolina where he'll remain under custody.

UPDATE: Kodak Black was released from St. Lucie County Jail on Monday afternoon, but he isn't a free man yet. The Sun-Sentinel reports that "he has been transferred to the custody of South Carolina deputies to be extradited to that state to face a sex charge."

In addition to two misdemeanor drug charges in Florida, Kodak had an outstanding warrant for a sex charge in South Carolina—so now that he has served his original 120 day sentence, he will remain under custody in South Carolina where an investigation into sexually battery charges is underway.

After pleading no contest to two misdemeanor drug charges in September (one for possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and the other for possession of drug paraphernalia) Kodak Black has been serving a 120 day sentence at the St. Lucie County jail.

Kodak (born Dieuson Octave) is named on the St. Lucie County Sheriff's release report, having been cleared to go home Monday afternoon at 3:13 p.m. EST.

After being released, he posted a photo of Yeezys to Instagram with the caption: "Coming home to these Yeezys thanks to @sicksolesftl @flypayper holla at them 1k authentic shit."
