Kodak Black is a free man for now after posting $100,000 bond in his criminal sexual conduct case. The rapper, real name Dieuson Octave, just finished serving his 120-day sentence in Florida on Tuesday when he was immediately extradited to South Carolina to face his next court case involving a female fan who alleged he sexually assaulted her despite her repeated attempts to stop him.
The 19-year-old rapper shared the news of his release on his Instagram with a picture of him smiling from ear to ear. “I’m happy to finally be going home to my family and friends,” a happy Kodak wrote in the image’s caption. “I look forward to clearing my name in the very near future. I want to thank God, my family, my team (Vanessa, Phatboy and James McMillan), Atlantic Records, my lawyers and all of my fans for your continuous love and support. I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love most – working at being the illest rapper alive.”
