Kid Rock and Brad Paisley are among the acts that will perform at George Jones' funeral. The country legend will be honored tomorrow at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. In addition to Rock and Paisley, Alan Jackson, Ronnie Milsap, Randy Travis, Charlie Daniels and Travis Tritt are expected to perform. Speakers include Kenny Chesney, Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and former first lady Laura Bush.
Jones, who has been called "the greatest voice in country music," died last week in Nashville after being hospitalized earlier in April with a fever and irregular blood pressure. He was 81. Jones had 143 Top 40 country hits in his career, with fourteen hitting the Number One spot. He also released 27 Top 10 albums.
