Kevin Gates Denied Bail

In March, Kevin Gates was kept in jail on his scheduled release day after authorities discovered an outstanding weapons-related warrant. Gates was scheduled to be released after serving the majority of a six-month term for kicking a woman in his audience during a concert. Now, TMZ reports that Gates has now been denied bail following a bond hearing earlier today. He is currently being held at Kendall County Jail in Yorkville, Illinois. Pitchfork has reached out to Gates’ representatives for comment.
