With a No. 1 single and album under his belt, Kendrick Lamar took a well-deserved break on Tuesday night (April 25), when he sat court side during a Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers playoff game.
As "HUMBLE." thumped through the loud speakers at the Staples Center, Lamar was all smiles. He also was in great company, as he was joined by L.A. Police Commissioner Steve Soboroff. "#thisguy helped me navigate the @Staples Center website to buy tix for @kendricklamar concert in August," tweeted Sobroff. Though the Clippers lost 96-92 against the Jazz, Lamar's presence had the Staples Center buzzing.
Lamar's entire album DAMN. has charted Billboard Hot 100. For his opening week, the album accelerated to the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 after earning a whopping 603,000 units.
