Kelly Rowland Joins ‘Empire’ Season 2: Report
Kelly Rowland on Empire? It’s practically destiny(’s child).
E! News reports that Rowland will join the cast of the hit drama next season as Lucious Lyon’s (Terrence Howard) mother. (Relax, apparently it’s via flashback.) Rowland, who last appeared in a straight acting project with her role in Think Like A Man, joins previously announced season 2 additions including Lenny Kravitz, Chris Rock, Alicia Keys and Oprah.
Given that her part is reportedly a flashback, is it too much to hope we might see Rowland go toe-to-toe with Cookie?
A rep for Rowland did not immediately respond to Billboard’s request for comment.
