Katy Perry, Who Is Going to Pay $129 for a Left Shark Onesie?
Katy Perry really loves her fans. So much so that she has created an opportunity for them to have something to memorialize the show-stealing Left Shark background dancer from her Super Bowl halftime show last month.
On Monday, Katy announced via Twitter that a scaled down replica of the Left Shark costume was available for purchase:
Following the halftime show, the dancing fish sparked massive reaction online for missing the beat during portions of the choreography. The onesie, perfect for lounging around and trick-or-treating, is also getting widespread online reaction, thanks to its $129 price tag. Many Twitter users have complained, saying it's too expensive:
Thankfully, Katy had the foresight that everyone would not be eager to spend $129, so she's also offering a more affordable alternative, a $25 Left Shark T-shirt.
We have to give Katy credit for being able to capitalize on a performance flub.
