Kate Bush Shares “King of the Mountain” From New Live Album

By Jazz Monroe.

Kate Bush is releasing a new triple-album of live recordings, Before the Dawn, on November 25. In advance of the album, recorded during her 2014 residency at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, she’s shared the live version of Aerial track “King of the Mountain,” via BBC 6 Music’s Shaun Keaveny show. Listen here from the 37:48 mark.

The Hammersmith residency marked Bush’s first full concerts since her only prior tour, in 1979, which produced the 1994 live album/home video Live at Hammersmith Odeon. Although the 2014 performances were filmed, the video footage won’t feature on the new album.
