Kanye West’s mysterious Calabasas collection has been anticipated for a minute now. Back in September, Kim Kardashian teased Calabasas x Adidas merch on her Snapchat and West was seen sporting the Powerphase sneaker and trackpants during NYFW. But, according to an exclusive in global design magazine Surface, West is dropping the collection today (March 28).
Named after the L.A. suburb where the designer and musician lives, the six-piece collection features the white, ’80’s-inspired Powerphase Adidas sneaker along with sweatshirts, sweatpants, and track suits. A$AP Nast styled a shoot staring model Ganna Bogdan and photographed by Dan Regan.
Like Frank Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry and FKA Twigs’ Nike collaboration, West’s product comes with a visual accompaniment. Cali Thornhill DeWitt, the artist who helped design West’s Saint Pablo tour merch, art directed a magazine that will be included with every Calabasas purchase.
Billboard has reached out to West’s and Nast's camps for a comment. The Calabasas collection should be available for purchase at yeezysupply.com. Take a look at some of the collection teases below.
