Kanye West Says A Lot, But Really Says Nothing At All

Kanye West is just days ahead of unveiling Yeezy Season 3, as well as his new album, which may be called Waves or Swish or T.L.O.P. or… whatever. To build up hype, the rapper has been merrily tweeting away, inundating our timelines yesterday with sneak peeks at his latest for Adidas, showing us models outfitted in clear strappy sandals and socks, his new Sorel-reminiscent Yeezy 1050 boots, his wife’s look (which consists of a moth-eaten sweater and a cool-looking chain and bling-embellished skirt) and a few other choice selections from the collection.

But if we know anything about Kanye, it’s that the man loves to keep people talking. Yesterday, the rapper announced he’s offering tickets to his show and free Yeezy shoes to anyone who can figure out the title of his album, an issue for us which is totally played out by now. Just recently, West had an enormous Twitter fight with Wiz Khalifa over the title of the album. Was that not enough free publicity for the forthcoming overture? This morning, Kanye also tweeted details on Yeezy season 4, for which he says he will be “working on kid’s clothing… full time.” Because every child deserves an expensive deconstructed sweater to spit up on.

But that doesn’t seem to be the end of Kanye News. The rapper just sent out another cryptic tweet, an image of an open mouth with a Hemès label dangling from it, with the caption “2017?” It seems Kanye might be teasing a collaboration with the French label, which could actually be really cool. Whether it’s actually happening remains to be seen, but we think it would definitely be a big get for both Hermès and Kanye.

But with all these teasers, sneak peaks and uncertainty, we’re begging Kanye: give us a break! Just tell us what’s going on, because between this and Beyoncé’s first round of presale tickets already selling out, we really don’t think we can take any more mystery or anxiety.
