For his first-ever jewelry line, Kanye West has teamed up with the most coveted jeweler of '90s hip-hop, Jacob Arabo. Dubbed Jacob the Jeweler by legends like LL Cool J, The Notorious B.I.G. and Jay Z, Arabo's opulent and classic style was a no-brainer for the Yeezy collaboration.
The 12-piece line was inspired by bas-relief portraits found in 14th-century Florentine art including medallion-style pendant necklaces evoking the romantic images of Donatello, thick band rings and even a deconstructed bangle bracelet.
"I wanted to create something that represented timeless love," West told Vogue in an exclusive interview.
This sentiment is best put into practice with West's wife, Kim Kardashian West, and her steady support of the jewelry collection since August 2016. The beauty and fashion icon was seen rocking the golden medallions at the MTV VMAs with a vintage John Galliano dress, again sitting front row at the Givenchy RTW Spring 2017 show in October, and most recently on the streets of L.A. wearing the same exact Yeezy chain as her husband.
Ranging from $1,530 to $13,360, the Yeezy jewelry line is available now for purchase on yeezysupply.com.
