Kanye West Defends His Misogynistic Lyrics About Taylor Swift on Twitter

It’s just after 9 a.m. on the East Coast and Kanye West is awake and tweeting up a storm in defense of his new controversial lyrics about Taylor Swift. On the song “Famous,” off his new album The Life of Pablo which premiered yesterday at the Yeezy Season 3 launch, the rapper and Bill Cosby defender makes a misogynistic reference to the 1989 singer and their infamous encounter at the 2009 VMAs. “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous,” he raps.

There have been conflicting reports about whether or not Taylor Swift knew about or approved of the lyric, but as always, Kanye has a take of his own. Read his tweetstorm below, which we’ve screenshotted because, you know, sometimes Tweets get deleted.
