Kanye’s “Famous” Video Is Now An Art Exhibition In LA

Taylor Swift probably won't be happy about this one.

Kanye West shook the Internet after he released his highly controversial music video for his single,” Famous,” which depicted a list of high profile celebs lying naked together in bed. And just when everyone — specifically Taylor Swift — thought they could move on, it turns out, their naked bodies will be immortalized in a Los Angeles art exhibit.

Blum & Poe, located in the LA area, presents “Famous By Kanye West” exhibition, which holds the original wax figures of the celebrities captured in Ye’s video. In case you needed a refresher, that includes, Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Ray J, and Caitlyn Jenner. The private exhibit had its unveiling ceremony Friday (Aug. 26). Kim K was in attendance, but Kanye video chatted in for a brief moment before heading back to his Saint Pablo Tour preparations.

In some ways, the new art exhibition is fitting for this particular work because of its reference to Vincent Desiderio’s 2008 mural, Sleep, which was previously featured in the Marlborough Gallery. Nevertheless, many of the subjects featured in the video had mixed reviews about being added into Kanye’s idea of art the first time around. So it will be interesting to see how they react to being put on display for all of Los Angeles.
