K. Michelle Provides Ample Amounts Of Shade To Kylie Jenner Over ‘Highlighter Hair’ Look

Professional trend curator Kylie Jenner has been accused of stealing yet another look, this time from singer K. Michelle.

The shade fell on Easter Sunday (April 16), after Kylie debuted a highlighted hair look on Instagram the day before. The singer shared her thoughts in which she posed and answered a “Who Wore It Best” moment while channeling Nene Leaks. “Mood, I like mine better.” she said in a now-deleted post. “I do. Mine looks magical like I ride unicorns. #Culture I think she looks great, don’t get me wrong. I said what I said now hush.”

Fans of Kylie’s were quick to shut down Michelle, but she wasn’t having it.

A lover of colored hair, the “Ain’t You” singer has rocked rich reds, savory blues and the classic brunette look. Earlier this year, Michelle rocked different versions of the highlighted look. Kylie has moved on from the look, rocking a purple wig and her signature black tresses on Monday (April 17).

Of course, it’s hard not to ignore the other highlighted-haired elephant in the room. Just last year, Cassie rocked the look on the red carpet for the MTV Video Music Awards.

Speaking to Billboard, the singer gave credit to 90’s fashion. “As a kid, watching the MTV Awards, I always saw how cool and crazy everybody got to be with their outfits so I wanted to try something different,” she said.
