“What Do You Mean,” as Bieber and Co. have clearly informed, is the 21-year-old singer’s latest track. The highly anticipated tune – the first from his upcoming studio album – hints at a promising new direction for Bieber and his music, similar to that of his Jack Ü collaboration, "Where Are Ü Now.“

The black-and-white lyric video (which features skateboarders Ryan Sheckler and Chelsea Castro) leaked in the early morning Friday (Aug. 28), but was promptly released on Bieber’s VEVO page at 7 am ET, as the countdown indicated.
