While only a few weeks into his Search for Everything Tour, John Mayer has had an impressive streak of superstars joining him onstage. During his concert Friday in Los Angeles, the singer surprised fans by performing Ryan Adams' 2000 hit "Come Pick Me Up" with none other than Adams himself.
While Adams was the primary singer, Mayer took over the second chorus and lent backing vocals. He also matched Adams' harmonica solos with some very Mayer-esque guitar riffs.
Adams is not the first surprise appearance on Mayer's tour: A few weeks ago, in Toronto, Shawn Mendes joined Mayer for a mash-up of their songs "Mercy" and "In Your Atmosphere." And in Columbus, Ohio, Dave Chappelle hit the stage with Mayer to pay tribute to late comedian Charlie Murphy.
