Billboard

John Legend and Chance the Rapper take us straight up to the "Penthouse Floor" on their highly anticipated, funky collaboration that debuted on Beats 1 radio earlier today (Nov. 16).

It's a groovy jam, with Legend crooning lines like, "Once you're above the city lights/ Won't want to spend another night down there on your own," and Lil Chano dropping a shaggy dog of a knock-knock joke on us: "I heard this old joke once/ It was like 'Uh, knock knock,' 'Who's there?' 'It's us,' 'Who's us?'/ 'Just us, who dis?' 'Just playin...'"

"Penthouse Floor" is the latest offering from Legend's upcoming album Darkness & Light, due out on Dec. 2, and comes days after the release of his moving "Love Me Now" video. Guest appearances on the album will also include Miguel and Alabama Shakes' Brittany Howard. Listen to the jam below.
