Jamie Lynn Spears is making a comeback, and the fruits of her labor are beginning to trickle out.
After appearing on "Chillin' With You," the ninth track from big sister Britney's new album "Britney Jean," the former "Zoey 101" star has her own song out -- and sonically, it's different from her sibling's usual fare, owing much to her move to Nashville three years ago.
"How Could I Want More," Spears' first solo single in years, is as in-line with today's country music standards as the best of them. Taking a page from Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry, Spears' vocal is sweet and innocent, yet with an established power that keeps her formidable among current country female vocalists.
Lyrically, the single tackles a relationship in which everything is near-perfect, and even if things can get a little trying at times, "how could [she] want more?"
The song is purportedly from Spears' upcoming debut album, which does not yet have a timeframe for release.
Britney's 22-year-old sister is making her return to music after plans were temporarily derailed with a 2008 pregnancy, which she announced when she was 16.
