J. Cole Is Dropping a New Album Next Week
As the users on the HipHopHeads Reddit point out, a surprise new J. Cole release has popped up on iTunes for pre-order. Titled 4 Your Eyez Only, the project is set to drop next week and contains ten tracks. None of the track names have been made available yet but with the release date set to December 9, we won't have to wait long to hear more about the project, although J. Cole still hasn't said anything about the upcoming release on any of his socials as of yet.
Earlier this year, Cole announced that he wasn't going to perform live again for a while. "This is my last show for a very long time," he announced to a crowd at The Meadows Music & Arts Festival. It seems evident now that he said this because he was committed to working on the follow-up to 2014's Forest Hills Drive, and that it didn't take all that long for him to get the release finished. While we don't have a lot of information about the forthcoming project, it will definitely come as good news to fans eager to hear more from Cole.
