It’s a Brooke White Christmas at Yahoo Music!
It’s a [Brooke] White Christmas this year, thanks to one of the coolest contestants ever to grace the American Idol stage, Brooke White.
The Season 7 songstress’s seasonal CD (titled White Christmas, of course) features her putting her own quirky spin on some traditional holiday fare, including “Silent Night,” “O Come All Ye Faithful,” Wham!’s “Last Christmas,” and Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmastime.” But when Brooke stopped by Yahoo Music, she brought some cheer to our office by playing a couple of her own holiday originals, soon to be considered modern classics in their own right.

Additionally, Brooke just finished a charity album, Never Grow Up, on PledgeMusic, with all of the proceeds are going to Operation Underground Railroad, which rescues kidnapped children from sexual slavery. She collaborated with a different artist on each song, including Deana Carter, Leigh Nash from Sixpence None the Richer, and fellow Season 7 American Idol alums David Archuleta and Carly Smithson.
