After the release of "Believer" earlier this year, Imagine Dragons premiered the music video for the single at 9 a.m. ET today (Mar. 7). It debuted at No. 43 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Feb. 25, 2017), and has since hit the top 10 on a number of charts: it currently rests at No. 2 on Hot Rock Songs, No. 4 on Alternative Songs, and No. 7 on Rock Airplay. The song was originally featured in Nintendo's Super Bowl ad this past February.
Directed by Matt Eastin, the music video stars Dolph Lundgren, who has appeared in Rocky IV and The Expendables.
As described by Imagine Dragons' lead vocalist Dan Reynolds, "'Believer' is about finding a place of peace and self-confidence. The video depicts a man facing his inner self, the toughest critic of all, while paying homage to some of the classic movies we grew up with."
