Idol Illustrated with Adanna Duru
This week, Adanna Duru was eliminated from American Idol, but she leaves the show with great memories and great friends. So she stopped by Yahoo Music to create a special piece of artwork inspired by her Season 14 experience, and now her original painting hangs on our Idol wall of fame alongside art pieces by Phillip Phillips, Caleb Johnson, Kris Allen, Chris Daughtry, Casey Abrams, Haley Reinhart, Jessica Sanchez, Lee DeWyze, Allison Iraheta, Casey James, Brooke White, and others.
“I didn’t know I was going to meet these amazing people, all the mentors that gave me such great advice, and the friends that I made and fans that I’ve made… I love to relating things to colors, and I think people’s personalities are colorful. I just love all the people I meet in my life,” she said while discussing her personal artwork.
