After announcing on Twitter that she would be releasing new music, Iggy Azalea backed up her tweets with her new song "Can't Lose," featuring Lil Uzi Vert.
On the record, Azalea uses her comeback track to flex on her detractors, as she brags about her material possessions. "You ain't talking about the money, go that way/ If you late with the check, I need back pay/ All these diamonds in my neck, I feel fancy," she boasts.
Azalea's "Can't Lose" is a part of Def Jam's second installment of their Direct Deposit series. The series highlights new music by some the label's most esteemed stars. The playlist includes 2 Chainz's "Good Drank" and Fabolous' "Goyard Bag." The record will also live on her forthcoming album Digital Distortion.
On Thursday, Azalea explained to her fans what hindrances were preventing her from releasing her long-awaited sophomore attempt. "I felt it was important I made some creative changes too - I needed my album to reflect where my head's at in 2017," Azalea said. "I really appreciate the patience & I'm so excited for all the new music, new visuals, album preorder dates, etc."
She also revealed her intentions to drop more music this month. "I'll be releasing throughout the month of March. Thanks for your support <3 IGGY," she tweeted.
