Icona Pop's breakout hit "I Love It" was one of last year's most memorable anthems, but the Swedish duo never performed it live with their track collaborator, Charli XCX. Finally, at the Warner Sound's SXSW showcase last month, the fast-rising British pop singer Charli spontaneously joined Icona Pop to party through "I Love It," all of them giving a rollicking performance of the defiant, joyous cut.
"Oh, it was so amazing that we all were at the same place at the same time; that never happens," Icona Pop singer Caroline Hjelt enthused to Rolling Stone. "We bumped into each other backstage and decided one minute before stage that we should sing it together. It was so fun! Girl power!"
"I Love It" is on Icona Pop's Iconic EP, out now.
