Katy Perry was with her, but why wasn't she with him?

The very vocal Hillary Clinton supporter Perry was scheduled to appear during Stephen Colbert's live Showtime election special Tuesday night (Nov. 8). But according to a source, the singer's segment was pre-taped and once the results were in, the piece was no longer aired.

Colbert's show did feature Elle King and Jon Batiste.

Perry did appear with the Democratic candidate in New York City on election night prior to the final results, admitting to the crowd that her parents had voted for Donald Trump. The "Rise" singer took to Twitter express words of hope amidst Clinton's shocking loss.
