Hear It First: Warm Brew's ‘A1Day1’ Featuring Racella

In the midst of a sea of pop songs dismissing haters, Santa Monica rap trio Warm Brew has penned an ode to their friends. Their song, “A1Day1,” from their new album, Ghetto Beach Boyz, out January 13, celebrates their real homies.

Members Ray Wright, Manu Li, and Serk Spliff, who are signed to Dom Kennedy’s OpM label, rap over a laid-back, feel good soul track with inviting sing-song rap flows reminiscent of Nate Dogg, Snoop Dogg and Warren G’s 213 group.

Ironically, the group has opened up for the likes of Warren G, ScHoolboy Q, and Yelawolf. Ghetto Beach Boyz is executive produced by Dom Kennedy and Archie Davis. They recently released the single “Can Ya Blame Me.
