First Listen: Naturally 7 Premieres New Album ‘Hidden in Plain Sight’
Naturally 7 have an unfair advantage on their contemporaries. The seven-man vocal outfit not only on sings and write songs, but also uses voices to replicate the sounds of instruments, a style they call vocal play.

During an interview with Yahoo Music last year, frontman Roger Thomas said the group was inspired by the likes of Doug E. Fresh, Fat Boys, and Bobby McFerrins, who are also blessed with the gift of phenomenal beatboxing skills.
The group, signed to Hidden Beach/Universal, also includes Warren Thomas, Rod Eldridge, Napoleon “Polo” Cummings, Dwight Stewart, and Garfield Buck. They have toured with Michael Bublé, performed with Quincy Jones, and won Coldplay’s praises for a cover of the band’s “Fix You.”
