Hear It First: Have a Coke, a Smile, and a New Track From Francesco Yates
The iconic Coca-Cola bottle was introduced in the U.S. on November 16, 1915, and so The Coca-Cola Company is celebrating the 100th anniversary of this timeless piece of American pop culture throughout 2015. As part of the centennial campaign, Coca-Cola collaborated with singer/songwriter Francesco Yates to create an original song, “Nobody Like You,” to celebrate in a unique way.
Yahoo Music is excited to debut “Nobody Like You” for fans to hear. As Yates notes, “‘Nobody Like You’ is an anthem track celebrating the Coca-Cola bottle’s journey since 1915. It focuses on the things that make us fall in love, the power of being unique and the specialness of shared moments. Lyrically, it serves as both a traditional love song and an ode to the bottle shape and experience.”
Nineteen-year-old Yates Yates, who describes his sound as, “Bruno Mars meets Taylor Swift with a little bit of Michael Jackson,” was featured on Pharrell’s smash album ‘G I R L’ and has a cameo appearance in the ‘Happy’ video. His full-length debut album is due for release in 2015.
